First Coronavirus Suspected Case Registered in Punjab

First Coronavirus Suspected Case Registered in Punjab:- The Coronavirus has been shaking the globe and China is completely shut after 4000 cases are registered and are fast spreading. Several scientists and medical experts across the globe are working on the medicine to prevent more deaths and all the countries are alerted to scan the passengers coming from China and the neighbouring countries. A 28-year-old student who is a Mohali resident returned from China and he is admitted in the isolation ward of PGIMER after he showed symptoms of coronavirus. This is the first suspected case registered in the country.

The patient hails from Uttar Pradesh but is residing in Mohali, Punjab with his family. He is a student in China and returned from the country last week. He complained of fever and respiratory discomfort after which he was rushed to PGIMER. Dr Gagandeep Singh, State programme officer, Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme, Punjab revealed the news today. He himself joined in Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) in Chandigarh. The patient is under observation and all the needed tests are conducted. His samples are sent to the National Institute of Virology, Pune. His family haven't shown any symptoms.
