Coronavirus Cases In India Cross 2 Lakhs

Coronavirus Cases In India Cross 2 Lakhs:- Despite of the lockdown, the number of coronavirus cases are increasing at a rapid speed in India. The total number of cases crossed 2 lakh mark and the active cases are more than a lakh now. About 98,113 people recovered from coronavirus and 5679 people passed away in the country due to the deadly virus. Maharashtra is the most hit state with 70,013 cases and 2362 deaths. Tamil Nadu stands second with 23,495 cases. Delhi has 20,834 cases and Gujarat stands next with 17,200 cases. It took just 15 days to double the cases after the relaxations are issued.

With the country occupied in a huge financial crisis, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced relaxations and asked the states to take their own decisions. If the doubling rate goes on, India will have 4 lakh cases in the next 15 days and 8 lakh cases by the end of this month. India is already the seventh in the list of a large count of coronavirus. USA is leading the list and is followed by Brazil, Russia, Spain, UK and Italy. There are speculations that the conducted tests are quite less when compared to other countries.
