Karnataka CM Yediyurappa Goes Into Self-Quarantine:- After Maharashtra, New Delhi and Tamil Nadu, Karnataka is one of the badly hit states in the country. Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa canceled all his programs for the day today and announced home quarantine. Yediyurappa took this step after his staff members were tested positive with coronavirus. He said that he would be working from home for the next few weeks. His staff including a driver, electrician are tested positive with coronavirus. They work at the office of Yediyurappa in Bengaluru.
Yediyurappa said that he would attend all the meetings through video calls and video conferences. Yediyurappa made it clear that he is perfectly fine and there is no need to worry about his health. He urged the people to maintain social distancing and wear masks following all the issued guidelines of social distancing. The office of Yediyurappa said that he would be staying in Dollar's Colony in Bengaluru and will work from home. Massive tests are conducted for the office staff of the Chief Minister and 94 among them are tested negative.
Yediyurappa was not in touch with the staff members who are tested positive but he decided to go into home isolation as a precautionary measure. Karnataka has 31,105 cases of coronavirus and 17,782 active cases. 457 people passed away due to coronavirus in Karnataka till date.
