Coronavirus India Tally Stands At 22.68 Lakhs:- The spread of coronavirus in the country is increasing at a rapid speed in all the states. With 53,601 new cases of coronavirus, the total tally stands at 22,68,929 as per the reports from the Union Health Ministry. Around 15,83,490 people recovered from coronavirus completely and the recovery rate is said to be 69.80 percent. The total fatalities stand at 45,257. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is holding a video conference with ten chief ministers of the country today including Maharashtra, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Bihar, Gujarat, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Telangana.

28.21 percent of the patients are still recovering in hospitals and home quarantine. 871 people passed away in the country yesterday alone. The total number of cases across the globe crossed 20 million and the death toll in the world stands at 7,32,000. USA, Brazil, India, Russia, South Africa, Mexico, Peru, Colombia, Chile and Iran are the most impacted countries of the globe. The Expert Committee on the vaccine administration will meet on August 12th. Dr V K Paul, the Chairman of NITI Aayog to discuss about the coronavirus vaccine. The testing rate in India is said to be 18,000 tests per million which is one-fifteenth rate in the tests that are conducted in United Kingdom. USA and Russia are testing one out of the five citizens or around 2 lakhs per million.
