A Record Number of New Coronavirus Cases Reported in India:- The country witnessed a new single-day spike in the number of new coronavirus cases in the country. 97,570 new cases of coronavirus are reported in India in the past 24 hours as per the reports from the Union Health Ministry and the total tally of the cases in India stands at 46,59,984. The death tally in the country stands at 77,472. Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal are the states that are reporting a record number of cases in the country. The recovery rate in India is at 77.8 percent.

Maharashtra has over 10 lakh cases while the cases in AP are nearing 6 lakhs. Tamil Nadu and Karnataka have reported over 4 lakh cases till date. As per the reports from the Union Health Ministry, 1201 people passed away in the country yesterday alone. 36,24,196 people got cured completely of coronavirus in the country and the total number of active coronavirus cases is said to be 9,58,316. After USA, India is the most impacted country because of coronavirus. The fatality rate in the country is at 1.6 percent. 10,91,251 samples are tested in the country yesterday and the total samples tested in India till date are said to be 5,51,89,226. The global cases of coronavirus tally is at 2.8 crores and 9.14 lakh people passed away because of the pandemic.
