35,342 New Coronavirus Cases reported in the Country:- A total number of 35,342 new cases for coronavirus are reported in the country in the last 24 hours and the total tally of cases reached 3,12,93,062. As per the reports that are released by the Union Health Ministry, the total number of recoveries in the last 24 hours are said to be 38,740 and the recoveries in total in India climbed to 3,04,68,079. 483 people passed away in India yesterday and the total number of reported deaths ever since the pandemic started reached 4,19,470. There are 4,05,513 active cases of coronavirus in India and the total vaccination doses administered in India till date are said to be 42,34,17,030. The new cases of coronavirus saw a slight decline after a sudden rise in the number couple of days ago.
Kerala stands to be the top contributor of the new cases and a total number of 12,818 new cases are reported yesterday. Maharashtra stands second with 7302 new cases. More than 1.29 lakh active cases are present in Kerala and Maharashtra has 94,000 active cases for now. The daily positivity rate is now at 2.12 percent and the recovery rate of India climbed to 97.36 percent. More than 56 lakh vaccine doses are administered in the country in the last 24 hours as per the update from the Union Health Ministry. As per the reports from the Indian Council of Medical Research, the total samples that are tested for coronavirus in India on July 22nd are said to be 16,68,561 and the total samples tested in the country till date are 45,29,39,545.
