Indian Covid-19 tally steady at 2.5 lakhs:- There were predictions that the third wave of coronavirus will reach the peaks in the last week of January and during the first week of February. The predictions and the Health Experts said that the daily tally would touch 7-8 lakhs during the peaks. But the new cases tally crossed 3 lakh mark last week and the wave is slowly calming down. The daily tally of cases are steady at 2.5 lakh mark. A total number of 2,51,209 new cases are reported in India in the last 24 hours. There are talks that the wave is calming down due to the fast recoveries reported in India. The people who are infected with the Omicron variant are recovering in less than 4 days which is a great sign. The hospitalization rate too is very low.

A total number of 3,47,443 people recovered from coronavirus in the last 24 hours in India. There are 21,05,611 active cases which is equal to 5.18 percent of the total reported cases. The daily positivity rate is 15.88 percent and 627 people passed away in the last 24 hours. The total vaccination doses administered in India are 1,64,44,73,216. The total reported cases in India are 4,06,22,709. The total number of people who recovered from coronavirus are 3,80,24,771. The death toll in India are 4,92,327. The total cases reported in all the countries of the globe are said to be 36,56,57,748 and the deaths reported are 56,36,042. As per the reports from the Indian Council of Medical Research, the total samples tested on January 27th are 15,82,307 and the total samples tested in India till date are 72,37,48,555.
