There are two cases of monkeypox released but the situation is currently under control. Kerala health minister Veena George issued special guidelines for the people. All the private hospitals are asked to refer the patients to the government hospitals as per the request of the patient.
All those who are critical and are being treated in a government hospital will be shifted to a medical college. Thermal scanners are arranged in all the international airports of the state. All those with fever and with red spots on the body should reach the nearest hospital. The state medical board has been asked to educate the people about the symptoms and treatment for monkeypox.
