The woman who died in the Chennai Central Railway station twin blasts is identified as Swati, a TCS employee from Andhra Pradesh. The 22 year old Swati was travelling to Guntur along with her relative. Union Railways Minister Mallikarjuna Kharge declared Rs 1 lakh as exgratia to the deceased family.
