Indian tennis sensation Sania Mirza has been crashed out the Australian Open from the doubles event. Sania paired with Chinese Taipei Su-Wei Hsieh met Gabriela Dabrowski and Alicja Rosolska in the second round. In straight sets with scores 7-6, 6-4, Sania and Hsieh pair were defeated.
More bad news from the Australian Open is, Leander Paes also got an exit. He and his South African partner Raven Klaasen lost to Italian pair Fabio Fognini and Simone Bolelli with 6-4, 4-6, 1-6 scores. Paes and Klaasen won the first set comfortably but could not hold on the game in the next two games.
Coming to the top seeds, Sharapova, Federer and the rest are cruising ahead in the competition. World number 3, Rafael Nadal had tough second round against the US unseeded player.
