India is preparing hectic to host the United States President Barack Obama who will be in the country as chief guest for the Republic Day celebrations. The three days schedule of Obama has been finalised and the US President will take the accommodation in ITC Maurya Sheraton hotel, which hosted the President in 2010. All the 430 rooms in the hotel are booked and no visitor will be allowed to the hotel or restaurant during Obama's stay starting from January 25 to January 27.
Coming to the food and water that would be served to Obama, three layers of stingent checking will be done before it reaches Obama. A Delhi Police food-testing team and a team of US Secret Service agents, will check the food and this process will be completed in 15 minutes. After passing through one more round, the food finally lands on the table where Obama will dine.
