Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar who is the co-owner of Kochi football team has named it as Kerala Blasters. The announcement was made by Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy. Later Sachin said that the Kochi franchise of the India Football Super League intended to provide international training to 1.25 lakh youngsters selected from the State.
