Governor Narasimhan's joint secretary P Basanth Kumar was hurt in a road mishap while he was travelling from Vijayawada to Hyderabad. A vehicle from behind hit Basanth's car near Narketpalli in Nalgonda district in the early hours of Wednesday. He sustained head injuries and was rushed to Kamineni Hospitals.
