Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan who was the chief guest at the training sessions for the new MLAs advised them to behave properly in the House and added every member should earn respect. Sumitra said, post the bifurcation, responsibility on MLA has increased and it is the job of legislators to come forward with issues troubling people.

Further, “debate on issues should be addressed and ruling party, opposition should have proper dialog, so that the matter will have a solution,” added Sumitra. But she opined that with present political heat between the government and opposition, smooth process of Assembly is unlikely.
