Bharatiya Janata Party has found fault in Telangana government's decision of making tennis star Sania Mirza as the brand ambassador of the state. They also opposed it and questioned how can a "Pakistani Bahu" [Daughter-in-law] be a brand ambassador of Telangana and who never participated in the agitation?

Seems like these comments have reached Sania Mirza and she reacted to them through her micro blogging account. “I pray for people who cannot be happy for others and who cannot let go of the pain and hatred inside them..May Allah bless u all,” wrote Sania in her Twitter account.

Also from politicians to celebrities, many are welcoming the decision of Telangana government and many opined that she is the daughter of India first and it is upto an individual to whom they want to get married.
