Finally, Kerala Governor Sheila Dikshit has stepped down from the her post and this news is confirmed by Press Trust of India. Sheila met Home Minister Rajnath Singh and President Pranab yesterday which gave speculations about her resignation.

Right from day one of taking charge, BJP has been pushing UPA appointed Governors to quit and many of them have already made their way. Sheila Dikshit has been appointed as Kerala Governor in March this year by the UPA government which led that she was offered the post for immunity purpose so that she will freed from the investigation in the Common Wealth Games scam 2010.
