Tirupathi MLA Venkataramana has died while getting treated following a heart surgery. The Telugu Desam Party legislator was suffering with a heart disease since very long time and yesterday he underwent a heart surgery in Chennai Apollo hospital. Following the surgery, Venkataramana condition got worse and finally he breathed his last.

Venkataramana was with Congress party before the 2014 annual elections, but as the Congress granted Telangana separate state, Venkataramana resigned to Congress and joined TDP. He defeated YSR Congress party candidate Karunakar Reddy with over 40,000 votes majority.
