Software Development head for Apple iPhone, Scott Forstall had refused to take responsibility of his serious mistake, a blunder of sorts, with regard to the latest Apple Maps, the cartography application of Apple. The Maps reportedly have been very poorly developed with several directions being wrongly mentioned, few locations missing, old names and currently non existent train stations, roads ending in the middle of nowhere, stores in the sea at times and several other similar mistakes.

The Apple Maps has been a complete joke on the internet while several businesses which sold paper maps ridiculed Apple Maps for the profit of their business too. One such advertisement read, "Maps for Apple Maps users".

Wall Street Journal mentioned that Scott Forstall refused to accept the responsibility which has sparked a problem with other executives. Following this, he made a decision to resign from Apple next year on Monday.

The Apple Maps which had lower expectations compared to the existing Google Maps applications but still it had not managed to impress the users often directing them the wrong way.

Apple also announced the immediate departure of John Browett, a British retail executive who took over Apple's stores in April.
