Aditya L1 Successfully Launched:- Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) launched its first maiden solar mission on September 2nd 2023 from Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota. With the success of Chandrayaan 3 , ISRO is having high expectations on Sun Mission also. Aditya L1 is going to study the outer atmosphere of the Sun, known as corona. India’s trusted PSLV is carrying the Aditya. L1 will be in earth orbit for sixteen days and will have a voyage of 125 days.

After the 125 days of journey, that is after a journey of four months the satellite will be placed on the Lagrangian Point (L1)around the Sun in the halo orbit. The Sun is about 1.5 million kilometers from the Earth and the Aditya Mission was launched on Saturday at 11:50 AM.

After the launch ISRO chief S Somnath congratulated the PSLV and wished luck for the Aditya L1 Spacecraft. It has a very long journey to reach the L1 point.

Aditya L1 has seven different payloads to study the Sun, in which four will observe the sun and the other 3 will measure the in-situ parameters of plasma and magnetic fields, according to ANI. It will successfully separate from the first payload after exiting the Earth's atmosphere.
