The latest desktops from Apple, the new 21.5” Apple iMac and the Mac Mini which were announced back in October, as most other Apple gadgets, were launched after quite some delay in India recently. Online and Offline dealers of Apple have announced and confirmed their availability in India.
However, if you are one aspiring to lay your hands on the new 21.5 inch model, you have to be a quick bird since they were listed as “limited numbers only”.
The base model of the iMac sports a 21.5-inch display, 2.7GHz quad-core Intel Core i5 processor, 6MB L3 cache, 8GB RAM and 1TB hard drive. Though the MRP is listed as Rs 85,900; you may purchase one for Rs 82,000.
The Mac Mini which received an overhaul is slightly less powerful at a cheaper rate of Rs 39,900. It features a 2.5 GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 processor, 4GB RAM and 500GB HD. Find a good dealer and you may save a thousand bucks too.
