CES 13 Day one round up

CES- 2013 is the talk of the town (world)  now. The event has been the gadget guide for the people since times immemorial. People keep an eye on the event to make a list of the gadgets to buy this year. The 2013 year event is being held at Las Vegas. Even before the CES has started out full fledged, there have been several products that have been announced by several companies already.

A few of the very interesting ones are

Samsung NX300 and a 3D camera lens: The 20 MP camera has been making rounds in the internets since quite some time but this 3D lens is the real shocker. The 40mm lens look like a normal lens without any telephoto zoom capabilities. The larger aperture allows great bokeh shots in the 2D mode. The real deal is the 3D mode which can be enabled with a flick of a switch. Within 6-7 feet of the camera, you can expect great 3D pictures which can be viewed on all 3D enabled TVs.

Samsung has a little more to offer than the cameras, a new TV that banishes remote for life. Gesture controlled LED TV's with the sharpest displays are being exhibited at the CES this year. Forget the troubles of remotes and batteries now.

Nvidia Tegra 4 and Project Shield: An avid gamer myself, Nvidia was the first on my list every CES. This year Nvidia has been a shocker with the most incredible announcements. Project Shield is its portable gaming console with a 5 inch retina display screen and a conventional X-box 360 styled gamepad attached to it. It is powered by a Nvidia GeForce dual core GPU, A-15 quad core processor for exceptional game play in the portable segment. It also runs Jelly Bean 4.2.

Another one for the mobiles is its fastest processor Tegra 4 which is A15 enabled for the fastest computing powers and a GPU supporting 72 cores for the Ultra HD displays that would rule the mobile market this year.

Intel has rolled out new lighter and less power-hungry yet powerful processors. They would also foray the mobile market which it has previously failed due to the bulky and power-needy nature. Now it has announced that their newer processors would consume less power and help hassle free power supply for more than a day comfortably. This is applicable for its tablets, laptops and mobiles too.

Chinese mobile maker Huawei has decided to up the ante with his latest range of mobiles in the Ascend series. Ascend Mate is a 6.1" phone that would compete with the biggest smartestphone Galaxy Note from Samsung. Ascend D2 would have a ultra HD resolution with a 441ppi pixel density crushing the Apple, and Samsung flagship mobiles!

This is not the first day yet! Keep watching this space for more tech, gadget review.
