It seems that at the moment the United States space agency can prove that our solar system has a tail just as in case of comets. Furthermore, the Scientists known to have brought into prominence images on Wednesday showcasing the tail flowing out from the bullet-shaped region of space under the grip of the sun, including the solar system and beyond. The region is known as the heliosphere, at the same time the tail is named as the heliotail.
The discovery are on the basis of the data from NASA's Interstellar Boundary Explorer, otherwise Ibex. Scientists always taken for granted that the heliosphere had a tail, yet this provides the first original data on its shape.
