Technology giant Apple has hired Swiss luxury watch brand Tag Heuer, vice president for sales, Patrick Pruniaux to assist in the launch of iWatch slated in September. However, Apple has declined to comment in Patrick's appointment.
As the “Swiss Watch” brand is quite popular in the world for their quality, Apple is looking for the Swiss watch experts and recruiting them. Apple to made several attempts to hire top league executives of Swiss watch companies but its trails have failed and so it refused to comment on Patrick's appointment.
The Analysts feel that Apple's iWatch concept may not hurt the Swiss luxury watches as they have their own market and moreover they feel that iWatch will be tech-savy wearable gadget and there is lot of difference between the Wearable gadget and Swiss luxury watch.
iWatch is rumoured to have features like health and fitness sensors, access to messages and notifications. The silicon valley is expecting the iWatch launch in the fourth quarter of this year.
