Sony launches Walkman

With the advent of Apple's iPod, Sony's Walkman gradually faded away in the market. Though Sony did not stop bringing new Walkmans' they did not sell in huge numbers. But now Sony has surprised everyone by launching a Android powered Walkman that also supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC. However, the shocking thing is, Sony has priced his Walkman quite high at 1,200 dollars [Rs 84,000]

The new Walkman ZX2 has large screen and supports Android 2.2 Jellybean. Android apps can be downloaded from the Google Play Store while the storage capacity is 128 Gb and can be extended as a micro slot is provided. The Walkman comes with 4.0 inch TRILUMINOS touchscreen and a battery that can last for 60 hours while playing music.

Sony made a bold attempt but the price is too high and music lovers might overlook it. Well, diehard Sony fans might prefer.
