The company’s first flagship Microsoft’s Lumia 950 is out now.
Speaking on the release, Microsoft official, Panos Panay said, “The specifications are similar to some of the Android phones. The Microsoft focused on how far Lumia 950 can be different from others and accordingly it was made. For one, the device features “tablet class” liquid cooling, which sounds to us like a slight jab at the Qualcomm hubbub from earlier this year. “We wanted to push these machines as hard as we possibly could.”
Microsoft official further said, “Lumia 950 phone had 5.2-inch OLED screen and 518ppi. It features “Glance screen,” which is a something like Ambient display or Moto Display, that allows the fans to get a peek at features, that too without touching any buttons on the phone and without sacrificing battery.”
Coming to back side of the phone, there is a 20-megapixel sensor, with triple LED RGB natural flash, and 5th generation optical image stabilization. There is also a camera button, which fans at the events got a kick out of. The camera performs well in the lowlight.
As the mobile phone market is increasing day by day, having defects in the camera might not progress Lumia. But this time, even Microsoft is assuring the fine camera experience with 950 model.
Along with the above, the other specifications include 32GB of expandable storage, USB-C, and just within 30 minutes, more than 50% battery can be charged.
Office, Cortana, Skype, OneDrive are anyway the obvious advantages in the phone. Microsoft even has some mobile and desktop services.
To get that point across, Microsoft demoed Continuum once again, showing how universal apps work and how the UI scales to different size screens. The Microsoft company even gave a brief demo of Windows Hello, which allows the users to login to their device with biometrics, which means the feature can recognize you, say your name and log you in instantly.
Finally. The Microsoft is promising that, it would be the most productive phone to pick up.
