After overtly inspiring the Indian cricket team into winning the high-octane 2011 world cup semi finals against arch rivals Pakistan at Mohali in Chandigarh through her offer to go nude if India wins the cup, the Mumbai based 20 year old leading model Punam Pandey is very much committed to keep up her word to serve as a morale booster to the Dhoni men to ensure the Indian victory in the finals against Sri Lanka on Saturday in Mumbai.
She even said that her parents had approved her proposal to go nude in case India wins the World Cup.
It may be reminded that the young model offered to strip and stand naked in front of a full stadium if India wins the 2011 World Cricket Cup. She is getting ready to perform her feat.
The unabashed Punam Pandey doesn’t want to run away from her commitment. Rather, the Indian win in the semi final against Pakistan has strengthened her resolve by leaps and bounds to strip naked and entertain the audiences and the team in the stadium.
As the clock is ticking its way towards a possible Indian victory against the Sri Lanka at the Wankhade stadium in Mumbai on Saturday, the dare devil model told a top journalist in Mumbai Thursday evening that her parents have permitted her to keep her commitment.
“There is no problem with the parents on the issue of my going nude for the sake of the country,” she said. “Most of the Indians are also encouraging me and I know nudity is an offence but I am applying for permission from the BCCI,” she said revealing her plans.

When asked where she will undress, she said anywhere in the stadium and even in the players’ dressing room. “The choice is theirs,” she said.
Her colleagues in the model industry are also encouraging her in her possible nude feat. Fellow model Shweta Sharma wrote on Twitter saying that Punam should have no excuses and she must strip irrespective of the permission from the BCCI.
Pandey reiterated saying that she is a new generation girl and the best way to inspire her country’s team is to go nude. Believe it or not, Punam Pandey is the most searched celebrity on the internet in the last three days.
