Bombay high court rules IPL probe as illegal

After clearing BCCI's President N Srinivasan, Rajasthan Royals owner Raj Kundra and Gurunath Meiyappan of Chennai Super Kings as free from the IPL spot fixing scandal, the Bombay High Court dropped a bomb.

The court has called the IPL probe illegal and unconstitutional, leaving the accused in a tizzy. The ruling comes just two days after clearing the above mentioned in the betting scandal. Srinivasan is the Managing Director and vice-Chairman of India Cements Ltd, the company that owns Chennai Super Kings

Speaking on the ruling, Srinivasan told reporters that no relief has been granted and that he has nothing more to say. He was accused of creating bias in the probe. Srinivasan was supposed to have resumed his post as the BCCI president, but the Bombay High Court ruling changes things.
