The union law minister  Salman Khurshid, who is in Hyderabad, has lashed out heavily on BJP and alleged that it stalled parliament proceedings with a view to obstruct the information to be passed on to the public on coalgate issue. To make a point he said CAG report never stated that treasure of the government was effected by the allocations of coal. He even said that none could tell as to how much the government would get in case bids were invited for coal mining.

Salman Khurshid has even said that there was no wrong in the report of the screening committee. He has also mentioned that the vigilance commission had already ordered CBI probe on the issue. Further, he said CAG report on coalgate was not final since public accounts committee (PAC) should examine the same and forward it to the parliament.
