There is perfect evidence found in the phone tapping issue of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Telangana nominated MLA Stephenson. The case has now become stronger, SIT official and AP DGP JV Ramudu said.
It is known that, a few of the cases are lodged on Telangana officials for tapping the phones of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and other AP officials. Regarding this, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) was formed under the supervision of AP DIG Mohammed Iqbal.
Vijayawada telecom service providers are questioned by the SIT member and Chittoor SP Ghattamaneni Srinivas. Speaking to the meeting held on Monday at the AP police headquarters, DGP JV Ramudu answered the various questions asked by the officials.
There are totally 88 cases on the phone tapping issue, among those, perfect evidences are found in a few of the cases. Regarding this, the officials are now planning whether to take the statement from the concerned officials, whose phones are tapped or to further investigate the other phone numbers they are using.
"As the evidence is in technical form, it should be properly prepared to present in the court, only then the court can relate to it. Moreover the statements should be taken by the concerned officials," Ramudu said.
The SIT officials said to DGP that, three Telangana IPS officers might be in the threat. "However the Telangana police have already destroyed key information related to the case," reports stated. So when proper information is provided by the service providers, then the officials are deciding to proceed further.
On the other hand, there is no such response from the T news and Sakshi channels, even though they received the notice from the Visakha police. So currently the officials are planning whether to reissue the notice or proceed through the court.
The only hope for the AP government is the information from the telecom service providers, if that is positive to them, then the situation of the T government might be in threat.
