Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar, the man who revived not only Indian cricket but the world cricket too. He is the complete batsman and the most worshipped cricketer in the world, Sachin holds just about every batting record worth owning in the game, including those for most runs and hundreds in Tests and ODIs, and most international runs.

After 24 years of cricketing career, Sachin retired from the game last November and this is his first birthday post retirement. Through out such long career, Sachin was always away from controversies and never involved in a tiff with any player.

The day Sachin retired, the Indian government also announced Bharat Ratna [India's highest civilian  award] Currently, Sachin is the mentor of his home IPL team Mumbai Indians. On this birthday, Sachin has urged his fans and citizens to take part in the elections.
