Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar Takes Charge As SEC:- Everyone is well aware of the tiff between Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar and the government of Andhra Pradesh. After Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar postponed the local body polls due to coronavirus and the government of Andhra Pradesh sacked Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar from his position. After months of legal battle, the top courts of the country asked the AP Government to retain Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar and the AP Government issued the orders reinstating him. He took the charge as the State Election Commissioner today. Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar returned back from Hyderabad today.

He received a warm welcome from the officials of the Election Commission. Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar said that Election Commission is an independent organization and has no political touch to it. He also said the government organization treats everyone equally and is not dependent on the government to make the decisions. Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar said that he hopes that the government would support his moves like in the past. Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar will continue as the State Election Commissioner for the next three years.
