Excerpts from the Interview of KTR:- Telangana is celebrating its Eighth Formation Day today and the leaders, people are making it a grand affair. Telangana Chief Minister KCR greeted the people on the occasion and massive arrangements are planned for the celebrations. Telangana IT Minister and young leader KTR spoke to a leading daily on the occasion. Here are the highlights of his interview:

Telangana is a sensation in all the fields after its formation. Right from the development to the investments and the employment opportunities, Telangana is racing ahead. We still have some issues in the state and they would be resolved soon. Congress ruled the country and various states for 50 years but there was no development done. Rahul Gandhi during his recent tour in the state asked for one chance. But the people are not in a mood to give that chance for Congress.

BJP is a state which is focused on politics that are based on religion. Narendra Modi visited Telangana eight times but he did not grant at least 8 paisa for the state. He is against Telangana and its development. Telangana is the leading state in generating revenues but the Centre has been against the state.

I have been receiving tremendous response wherever I visit. We have been getting investments from all the corners of the globe. We welcome the Centre and the leaders celebrating the Formation Day of the state. It would be good if the Centre announces an aid for the state. Telangana received investments worth Rs 4200 crores during my recent visit to Davos and London. The investments made in the pharmaceutical field are Rs 7.75 lakh crores.

The dream of Kaleshwaram project turned true. We have surplus water and electricity for the state. All the pending projects in the state would be completed at the earliest. We never had a crisis of the funds in the state. Though coronavirus pandemic turned out to be a dent, Telangana recovered well and is racing ahead.

We are focused on the development of the state. BJP and Congress are the parties that are making enough noise but the people are by our side.

We have good relations with Andhra Pradesh. YS Jagan is like my big brother. We never had any disturbances with Chandrababu Naidu too in the past. We share a great bonding with the neighboring states Karnataka, Chattisgarh and Maharashtra.
