Senior BJP leader Yashwant Sinha and 54 others were remanded in judicial custody for 14 days by a local court on Tuesday in a case of alleged assault of a Jharkhand State Electricity Board [JSEB] official. The victim filed an FIR accusing Sinha of tying him up during a demonstration on power crisis. Sinha had openly admitted before the media that he instructed the party's women to punish the official.
