N Srinivasan is formally appointed as the chairman of International Cricket Council [ICC] on Thursday at the Annual Conference held in Melbourne. Srinivasan released a statement shortly after the announcement was made and it said it is an honour to be confirmed as the chairman of the International Cricket Council. Srinivasan becomes the first ICC chairman, replacing outgoing Australian Alan Isaac, who served a two-year term as ICC president.
