Andhra Pradesh has been awarded with Agriculture University, Indian Institute of Technology [IIT] and AIIMS by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley. Presenting the budget in Lok Sabha, Jaitley said the government will establish five IITs and IIMs in the country. However, AP missed out IIM while Telangana was completely ignored.
