TDP, Rajamundry MP Murali Mohan remarks on women are creating a storm in Rajya Sabha. Yesterday in Lok Sabha while debating on atrocities against women and children, Murali Mohan said, "to uphold the tradition of Indian culture, I would earnestly request my sisters and daughters to dress in dignified manner."

Congress MP Kumari Sushmita Dev and NCP MP Supriya Sule have objected Murali Mohan's statements and demanded to take back them. This issue was raised in Rajya Sabha yesterday in the zero hour and continued even today. However, women MPs are seriously upset with statements coming for a public representative. Murali Mohan has clarified that his intentions were never to hurt women and added that he immensely respects every women in society.
