Former actress and director Jeevitha Rajasekhar has been slapped with Rs 25 lacs fine and two years of jail by a local Hyderabad court in connection with a cheque bounce case. Going by the details, producer Sekhar Reddy was given Rs 22 lakh cheque by Jeevitha who bought the rights of the film 'Evaduthe Nakenti.'

However, the cheque got bounce and though repeated attempts were made to clear the financial dues, Jeevitha ignore. Finally the producer had to approach court and after thorough investigation in the case, the court has slapped Jeevitha with punishment.

Ironically 'Evadithe Nakenti' features Jeevitha's husband Rajasekhar in the lead role and it was the last movie, Rajasekhar scored a hit.
