The security measures have been increased at Tamil director Shankar's residence in Chennai as the transgenders community found objectionable content against them in the movie 'I.' The transgender community is upset with Shankar for showing Ojas M. Rajani, a transgender, in very illicit way and were protesting at Shankar's residence for the past few days.
According to the reports, the protests are crossing their limit and so Shankar approached police for protection. The police forces were increased in number over the past 24 hours while the transgender community is gearing up to lodge a complaint against the ace filmmaker. 'I' hit the theatres for Pongal and met with mixed reviews. The film stars Vikram, Amy Jackson and Upen Patel.
