Taiwanese mobile manufacturer HTC has been in doldrums relatively after Samsung preyed on the Android smartphone market claiming a very large share to itself. It has not managed to tap the Indian market since. However, it is now taking another chance to tap the potential market of smartphone lovers in the nation with its premium flagship phone HTC One. Known to be one of the finest phones made with high end design, build, hardware and software, there is a good reason to buy the phone. But will a hefty price tag of Rs 42,900 hinder buyers in a nation where premium phones are purchased in very limited numbers.
The most notable feature of the phone would be the 4 UltraPixel camera that takes in as much as 300% more light with great low light performance. The numbers cannot be compared with the regular megapixels since the pixels are larger with more light capturing capabilities. Battery life could be more than decent with 2,300 mAh battery.
Reliance Communications will bundle data along with the phone for the GSM versions. 1GB of 3G data free along with free sharing of unlimited text, music, pictures and videos through WhatsApp and Facebook for 3 months would be a bonus pack. BigFlix subscription for three months will mean free on the go movies without any charges.
