Facebook Confirms its Support to GIFs

Facebook has finally adopted GIFs into the news feed so now you can share your moving image files directly into your timeline - no longer to use third parities workaround.

Just throw the URL link into a post or a comment and Facebook will do all the hard work for you, allowing you to reply with your true feelings expressed in a moving, repetitive image.

But don’t worry, if the newly added feature didn’t work in your system as it takes time, at times.

While Twitter and Pintrest adopted GIFs last year, it is now Facebook who started dealing with the moving images format. Facebook released Giphy workaround. Though the workarounds are not new for Facebook as it releases few workarounds earlier like “Seen” for video calling on Mobiles, the latest GIF support is par excellence compared to those.

How it works?

Copy the link to your favorite GIF

Paste it into the Statue update bar
