A clear indication from BJP to TDP:- BJP has appointed NTR’s daughter Daggubati Purandeswari as Andhra Pradesh BJP party president. Daggubati family is not having proper terms with TDP, formed by NTR and led by Nara Chandrababu Naidu. Purandeswari was always far from TDP and was a member of the Congress party till 2014 and served as cabinet minister two times.
Purandeswari joined BJP in 2014. She never was a media person and was stable with her political career. Her husband Daggubati Venkateswara joined YSRCP before the elections. YSRCP asked Purandeswari also to join into YSRCP if Venkateswara Rao want to continue his politics in YCP. With no option left Venkateswara Rao stayed far from politics in recent times and Purandeswari continued her political career with BJP.
Appointing Purandeswari as the state president was a clear indication from BJP to TDP, that there are not interested to show or take their support in the coming Andhra Pradesh assembly elections as the Nara family and Daggubati family have personal issues, which is a open secret to the people of Andhra Pradesh.
Purandeswari's husband was close to YSRCP and this also hints that BJP is sliding towards YS Jagan for support. Over a year left for AP assembly elections and the political strategies of all the political parties in the state are heating up.
