London Court has a New Shock for Nirav Modi:- Billionaire businessman Nirav Modi went absconding from the country last year after he owes Rs 13,000 crores to Punjab National Bank. He was spotted in London during March after which the CBI and the Enforcement Directorate filed a petition in the London court regarding his extradition back to the country. Nirav Modi received a shock from London's Westminster Court after his bail petition has been rejected. Nirav Modi appeared from a video link from the jail he has been residing in.
The next hearing in Nirav Modi's case will take place on May 24th and the full hearing will take place on May 30th. Nirav Modi did not utter a word during the argument and he just said his name Nirav Modi when the judge asked. Nirav Modi looked tired and restless. The lawyers argued that Nirav Modi may spoil the evidence and is also a threat to the lives of other people who are in this case. Nirav Modi was arrested on May 19th and is residing in Wandsworth prison in South-west London.
