MHA Extends Lockdown For Two More Weeks

MHA Extends Lockdown For Two More Weeks:- With the number of coronavirus cases increasing on a regular basis, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) said that the lockdown will be extended for two more weeks starting from May 4th. Some other new guidelines have been issued to regulate the activities during this extension. Considerable relaxations will be given for orange and green zones. The Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to address the nation this Sunday, but before this, the MHA issued a statement about the lockdown extension because of the huge increase in the number of cases. The UP Government announced that the borders are completely sealed and no one would be permitted from entering into the state.

Red zones will be strictly under lockdown until the completion of the period. All the public transport (buses, trains and flights) will remain closed until the completion of the lockdown period. All the educational institutions, theatres, multiplexes, shopping malls and others too will be closed till further notice. The total number of coronavirus cases crossed 35,000 in the country. The cases got increased in several states of the country and the MHA today announced the red, orange and green zones in the country. All the red zones would be under strict lockdown till May 17th.
