India's tennis star Sania Mirza has been confirmed as Telangana state brand ambassador by CM K Chadnrasekhar Rao. Also the government has awarded Rupees one crore for Sania Mirza for her training sessions who will be taking part in US Open later this year.

Yesterday, Sania met KCR at  Telangana state secretariat and asked for government's support. Replying positively, KCR has announced Rs one crore and also made her brand ambassador. The government will officially announce this. Apart from this, the world 5th seed also requested the government to help her in establishing tennis academy in Hyderabad.
