Bharatiya Janata Party has announced a statement that Uddhav Thackeray's Shiv Sena will join with Devendra Fadnavis government in Maharashtra. However, Shiv Sena is likely to get 12 ministry posts, which includes 5 Cabinet ministers and 7 minister of state. The Sena ministers are expecting to take oath on Friday, while the names and portfolios will announce on Thursday evening. Shiv Sena has failed to grab the deputy chief minister’s post, which it has been bargaining from past month.
Shiv Sena and Bharatiya Janata Party have lead Maharastra Government for five years from 1995-99. But the Sena held the chief minister's berth and BJP played as a junior partner. Currently, BJP has dominated with 121 MLAs and the Sena with 63 and did not got at least a deputy post which the BJP had in the past government.
Meanwhile, the oath-taking ceremony will take place at Vidhan Bhawan on Friday evening 04:00 pm. Maharastra CM Fadnavis insists that BJP and Shiv Sena have been separated for few reasons and could not fight in Assembly elections together, but both the parties are expecting to fight against the Congress and the NCP.
