Indian seamer Ishant Sharma and allrounder Ravindra Jadeja were ruled out for the first ODI against Asutralia on Sunday in the tri-nation series. Indian captain MS Dhoni has confirmed Ishant and Jadeja's unavailability. Ishant is out with left ankle injury while Jadeja is yet to recover completely from the shoulder injury.

However, Dhoni wants to make the World Cup squad in the playing Eleven which means Mohit Sharma and Dawal Kulkarani who are also part of the tr-series squad will be confined to the reserve bench. It is a good opportunity for the Indian players to get used to the Australian conditions ahead of the ICC World Cup 2015 which begins next month.
