Russian astronauts to watch Euro 2012 from space

The International Space Station gave an interesting message to the world. The Russian astronauts abroad ISS are all set to woo their football teams at the football championship from the space. They will be watching Euro 2012 football championship and London Olympics from space.

The astronaut Gennady Paladka has told the reporters at Baikonour Space Centre in Kazakhstan that they would cheer for the Russian national team. They said they would, however, not be watching the games live.

Paladka has said that they would get audio-video material from the London Olympics at a later stage. It may be recalled that Padalka along with Russian astronaut Segei Revin and US astronaut Joseph Acaba are schedule to fly to the International Space Station on May 15.    (Phani)
