Xolo Q1000 rises the stakes in the quad-core game

Xolo Q1000 has been making the buzz in the budget phablet market since quite sometime and the real deal is already here. The 1.2 GhZ quad core phone boasts to have it all at the price range of just Rs 14,999 as listed on Flipkart where it is currently out of stock.

The company is yet to launch the phone officially but it has already made its way to the online shopping markets to attract and create hype for the crowds. So is this phone the big deal for you who wants to shell less under Rs 15000 and yet have a big phone capable of doing all the things you want?

On paper the answer seems to be yes. Xolo Q1000 features a 5-inch IPS display that has a resolution of 720x1280 pixels with a pixel density of 295ppi. The screen is made of scratch resistant Dragon Trail glass. The dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) phone runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. That right there is your requirement in a nutshell. Multi-tasking is not a big deal with 1GB of RAM. Get enough of your gaming with the PowerVR SGX544 graphics processor. The phone sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and BSI sensor and a 1.2-megapixel front facing camera. But don't expect too much from the photos.

Where it falls short like the other mobiles in this range is the storage department. Only 4GB of internal storage expandable up to 32GB via microSD card will make you think about every MB of application that you will install on the phone. The phone features 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity options. It has a 2,100mAh battery.
