Yahoo's thrust to re-discover itself will include a new logo to be introduced in the month immediately falling in time. According to a blog post by chief marketing officer Kathy Savitt, the faded Internet star's new symbol has been redesigned to better reflect what the company aims to be under chief executive Marissa Mayer.
Ms Savitt expressed they'll be keeping the colour purple, their iconic exclamation point and of course the famous descant. Following behind, some things never go out of style. Since former Google executive Mayer became boss at Yahoo early preceding year, the California company has cracked up 21 startups including the billion-dollar buy of blog platform Tumblr.
