Google In Plans For Their Own Chips To Be Made In Bengaluru:- Bengaluru emerged as the major destination for various semiconductor industries to set up their bases in the city. Now, Google is in plans to join the list to manufacture the chips. The Reuters reported that Google hinted this through LinkedIn after they have been in search for positions to close their vacancies based in Bengaluru. Google entered into hardware market through Pixel Mobiles and Home speakers. Hence they are in plans to set up a manufacturing unit in India to design chips. These can be exported to the clients in and around India.
With the major rivals Apple and Samsung having their own chipset technology, Google too is in plans to emerge as a strong platform. Google is hiring employees from Qualcomm and Nvidia for their chip manufacturing unit based in Bengaluru's Silicon Valley. Most other chip making units of the US companies are limited to their home soil. As of now, Google kept things under wraps and they are in big plans that will be made official soon.
